Limb loss is a devastating event in an individual’s life, often resulting in a profound loss of direction and purpose in all levels. As an amputee, I have traveled the challenging and sometimes unforgiving road from despair to joy; and through this uncertain and painful journey, I have come to understand something clearly. This was all meant to be in my life plan. My inspiration to create MIRACLE LIMBS-COURAGE IN MOTION is God given.
We are a 501[c] 3 nonprofit organization committed to providing fellow amputees desperately needed resources necessary to navigate the physical, emotional, financial and spiritual hurdles that accompany the experience of losing a limb. I see MIRACLE LIMBS-COURAGE IN MOTION as a lighthouse casting rays of hope, courage, strength and encouragement to amputees so that they may pursue their dreams, face their fears and accomplish life goals they would not have tried before. Our drive is powered by compassion, perseverance, and an understanding of the human spirit. Impossible is not in our vocabulary.
The success of MIRACLE LIMBS-COURAGE IN MOTION depends largely on volunteers, individual donors, corporate sponsorship, and fundraisers. The growth of this organization, through people such as you, is another way we can help connect us all to the profound beauty of our shared humanity.
